Human Intelligence in a Digital Age
Students develop empathy, reflection, and ethical awareness in a rapidly changing digital world.

At ACS, citizenship is built from the ground up by instilling in our students a sense of empathy, curiosity about the world around them, and a belief in their ability to effect positive change.
At the root of our approach are three credos, which together form the foundation of our human-centered approach to learning:
Curious students want to learn. They delve deeper, ask questions, and step outside their comfort zones. When that happens, they unlock their full academic and intellectual potential. Our supportive learning community and distinctive programs help students develop these vitally important qualities.
We ask a great deal of our students. We ask them to think deeply and creatively, develop new ideas, and take the lead in bringing them to life. In fact, many of our most celebrated programs began as student initiatives and continue to be led by our students.
At ACS, community means many things. It begins with our students, faculty, staff, and parents, and extends outward to our neighborhood of Manara, our city of Beirut, the country of Lebanon, and the wider world. From Early Childhood through High School, we seek opportunities to strengthen our community through friendship, service, and compassionate action.
